Catherine Barnard was inspired to try blogging with her elementary cycle 2 class at North Hatley School in the Eastern Townships School Board after reading blogs from classrooms around the world. She is starting her fifth year at the school and is looking forward to another blogging year.

Catherine decided to use Edublogs because of the ease of use. She could create and manage as many student blogs as she wanted. It had the features she wanted (easy to embed media). She paid for a pro membership (3,33$ per month) as there were more themes, she could have up to 50 student blogs and she appreciated the support she got from Sue Waters.
