Skype for Educators

Many teachers are using Skype with their classes. They connect with classes around the world to share ideas, explore and learn about people and issues in other parts of the world. An account is free with the possibilities of video connections one to one. Skype has recently announced free group video calling for teachers. From this blog post, I learned that existing members of Skype in the classroom or new registrants can use Skype’s Group Video Calling free of charge. This opens new possibilities for collaboration between multiple sites.
