The Tony Blair Faith Foundation promotes the respect and understanding of the world’s major religions and encourages them to work together for common humanitarian goals.
To this end, they have developed a program called Face to Faith for 11 to 16 year olds in middle and secondary school to promote critical inquiry, religious literacy and dialogue. Via video conferencing and an online community students have the opportunity to exchange views and experiences about their traditional belief’s and global issues with other students around the globe. [Possible Quebec program connections include themes in Ethics and Religious Culture, Contemporary World, etc.] The Face to Faith program has been developed in close consultation with leading international academics and teachers. It is also underpinned by the Toledo guiding principles.
Within Montreal, TBFF is planning a Face to Faith training workshop and information session. They have one English language Workshop scheduled November 11th and one French Language workshop scheduled for November 10th .
