The celebration continues! As we move into our second collection of shout-outs from school boards across Quebec, it’s clear that the impact of our staff reaches far beyond the classroom. From community members to colleagues, the messages pouring in remind us that the small, daily acts of kindness and support are what truly make our schools a second home for students and parents alike. Here is part two of our provincial tribute.

Erika Hamilton, NFSB
Erika consistently goes above and beyond for her students, investing time, care, and energy to help each one succeed and feel supported. This dedication was especially evident in the incredible amount of work she put into the CCQ “Growing up in Rural Quebec” photography exhibit, where her attention to detail and commitment turned it into a meaningful and professional showcase of student talent. More than just teaching skills, she encourages students to recognize the value in their own work, helping them build confidence and pride in what they create. Her passion and belief in her students leave a lasting impact well beyond the classroom.

Marisa Ring, EMSB
Marisa’s dedication, compassion, and commitment do not go unnoticed. She gives so much of herself to her students, and they are better for it. She deserves recognition not just for what she does, but for the heart she brings into everything she does.

Ms. Beatty, CQSB
Ms. Beatty was an amazing teacher when I was a student, and I’m so grateful she’s now teaching my children. She shares her love of music, the arts, and culture so beautifully, inspiring creativity and curiosity. Thank you for nurturing and inspiring students with such dedication.

Ms. Lindsay, ESSB
Ms. Lindsay has been a dedicated student attendant for over 10 years, she is a tremendous asset wherever she is and both students and staff love her. Ms. Lindsay always goes above and beyond to make our school a better place. Whether she is taking care of the breakfast program or brightening our hallways with beautifully maintained bulletin boards. You will often see her walking through the halls with her cleaning bottle and cloth, going the extra mile to make sure our school is a clean, safe, and welcoming place for everyone. Thank you Ms Lindsay!

Emily Masse, ETSB
Emily consistently goes above and beyond to make her classroom not only a place of learning, but also a safe and caring space for her students. She has an uncanny ability to truly see her students and to consider the whole child. Emily holds high expectations for all learners and has a deep belief in her students’ abilities. When students make mistakes, whether in the classroom or out, she supports them, helping them learn and grow from the experience.
One practice that stands out to me is the personalized books she gives to her students each year. Each book is thoughtfully selected and carefully decorated with the individual child in mind. What a beautiful way to help students feel seen while also fostering a genuine love of reading.

Teachers and Staff at Western Quebec Virtual Campus, WQSB
Kudos to this dedicated group for connecting with and supporting their students and partners in schools across the province. Your hard work, professionalism, and caring shines through, even at a distance. You are appreciated!

Ms Driver, LBPSB
Ms. Driver has been an incredible support to our daughter this year. Her patience, kindness, and dedication have made such a meaningful difference in our child’s confidence and learning. She takes the time to truly understand each student and meets them where they are, creating a safe and encouraging space to grow. We are so grateful for the impact she’s had on our daughter and for the care she shows every day. Teachers like Ms. Driver truly change lives.

John Whittaker, NFSB
Huge shout-out to John Whittaker over at the Nova Career Center welding department. Real talk, this guy is the best teacher I’ve ever had. There were definitely days where I was ready to throw in the towel, but John always knew how to get my head back in the game. He’s patient as hell, genuinely kind, and the man absolutely knows his stuff. If you’re looking to get into welding, there’s nobody I’d recommend more. Thanks for everything, John!

I really loved her interaction with my daughter and made the session enjoyable.

Mme Dominique & Mrs Maxwell, LBPSB
You have both gone above and beyond to help my sons this year and it is making such a difference! You have met them at a time in their lives where there was a lot of sadness and uncertainty and you have helped ease that discomfort and are helping them succeed. I can’t picture any two teachers more perfect for our boys than you! Thank you both. On the days that feel like nothing is going right, please know that you have made such a positive impact on our 3 children! I am grateful for you both 🙂

Mrs. Maxwell, LBPSB
We just wanted to take a moment to thank Mrs Maxwell for the incredible impact she’s had on our family over the years. Her patience, dedication, and genuine care never go unnoticed. It takes a very special teacher to leave such a lasting impression on a family, and Mrs Maxwell has truly done that for ours. We are so grateful for the role she’s played in shaping our children’s early school years and for the consistency, warmth, and encouragement she brings into the classroom every day.

Ms. Angie, SWLSB
Everyday Ms. Angie does something incredible for her students. They are so lucky to have her.

Miss Alexia, École trilingue Vision Rivière-du-Loup
With imagination as her superpower, Miss Alexia helps to create the most incredible hands-on role play centers. Her Kindergarten classroom transforms into worlds where curiosity leads and little minds shine.

Ms. Anila, LEARN Tutoring
Thank you Ms. Anila for your patience and enthusiasm! It has encouraged my children to keep learning.

Ms. Carrie-Ann, SWLSB
Ms. Carrie-Ann has a way of making every child feel important, not just for their achievements but for who they are. She listens with patience, teaches with kindness and leads with her heart. In her classroom, learning isn’t just about books and lessons, it’s about confidence, compassion, and believing in yourself. The students don’t just respect her, they adore her because they know she cares deeply about them.
Because of her, my son comes home excited to share what he learned, proud of his efforts, and happy to return the next day. That kind of impact doesn’t come from teaching alone, it comes from love, dedication, and a genuine passion for her students. She is more than a wonderful teacher; she is someone they will remember forever.

Annie Beauregard, RSB
Annie is an overall amazing person and a true professional – she is dedicated, consistent, supportive, reliable and connected to the kids, adults and community needs. How much she cares shines through – we see it and very much appreciate her !
